Our goal is to satisfy a wide range of needs: from single piece processing (samples or small batches) to large production batches.
In-axis drilling with automatic loader and drilling with counter-rotation
In-axis drilling is performed with the most technologically advanced and efficient machines in the industry. The counter-rotation movement allows for greater drilling precision, guaranteeing the maximum coaxiality between each hole and piece.
- Fields of application: rods, shafts, gears, transmissions, small and medium sized rods.
- Drilling system: GUNDRILL, STS and BTA
- Number of drilling machines: 9 single and multi-spindle (TBT, ZIMAR, VENTURA, IMSA, HOLZWARTH)
- Drilling range: from ø2.50 mm to ø24.00 mm with GUNDRILL system; from ø18.00 mm to ø160.00 mm with STS / BTA system
- Maximum depth of hole: 3000 mm. (the maximum depth is related to the diameter of the hole)
Off-axis drilling
In this type of drilling procedure, horizontal drilling of various diameters and depths parallel to the axis of the piece can be performed. Off-axis drilling is a process that must be managed with numerical control machines and it requires a high level of operator experience, since the positioning and straightness of the holes are influenced by multiple mechanical factors (allowance, nature of the material, etc.)
- Fields of application: rods, shafts, gears, transmissions, small and medium sized rods.
- Drilling system: GUNDRILL, cannon tip
- Number of drilling machines: 6 (VENTURA, IMSA)
- Drilling range: from ø5.00 mm to ø30.00 mm
- Maximum depth of hole: 2000 mm
- Numerical controls: CNC SIEMENS and SELCA
Radial drilling
Radial drilling is performed to complete both in axis and off axis deep drillings through the 4-axis vertical machining centers for various types of mechanical parts.
- Fields of application: gears, bolts, rods, hydraulic gearboxes
- Drilling system: machining centers
- Number of drilling machines: 1
- Numerical control: FANUC
